Christian Religious Instruction (RI) is a unique opportunity to sow seeds of hope and truth during school time.
Each week, trained instructors provide a calm, caring space where students can explore the Christian faith, hear timeless stories, and reflect on values that shape character—such as kindness, purpose, compassion, and hope.
More than 5,000 Sunshine Coast students attend Christian RI every week—most from families with no church connection. For many, this is their first chance to ask big questions and discover that they are valued, loved, and created with purpose. They learn that life is about more than achievement or popularity; it’s about who they are, and who they are becoming.
Right now, another 1,500 students have parent consent but no available class—simply because we don’t have enough instructors.
They’re waiting for someone to show up.
In a culture where young people navigate mixed messages about identity, truth, and meaning, Christian RI offers grounded guidance and genuine care. That’s why we go.
We believe in being the Church beyond the building—serving our local schools with humility, compassion, and the hope found in Jesus. Together, we can shape the next generation with truth, love, and life‑giving influence.
We train and equip local believers commissioned by their churches to deliver Christian Religious Instruction (RI) in public primary schools.
Over 60 church partners trust our specialised team to manage RI programs and training on their behalf. With a singular ministry focus, we deliver expert discipleship training tailored for secular schools.
RI on the Sunshine Coast is thriving—compliant, well-resourced, and faithfully managed. This united effort protects the integrity of the ministry through strong, accountable practices, making faith education accessible and impactful for young minds.
